Medical Debts

Once a small debt has been processed via NetCollect™ and remains unpaid, the matter can be referred to us via the Submit Instructions link on our website.
Then, once we have confirmed the current residential address for the debtor, we will forward a letter of "offer" to "purchase" the debt.
Our "purchasing" of the debt is in fact a re-assignment of ownership of the debt pursuant to The Law of Property Act 1936 Section 15.

Rules governing our offer to "purchase":

  1. The debt must not be statute barred (that is, no longer than 6 years has passed since any action to recover has been undertaken).
  2. You must have clear, precise clauses in your terms & conditions of trading allowing for the recovery of debt collection fees incurred to an external collection agency.
  3. Preferably, you should also have clear, precise clauses in your terms & conditions of trading allowing for the re-assignment of the debt to an external collection agency.
  4. You must be a full financial member of NetCollect™.
  5. We must have a confirmed current residential address for the debtor.
  6. The debt must have been incurred in South Australia.
  7. The debtor must currently reside in South Australia.
  8. The debt must not be in dispute.
  9. The debt must be no greater than $750.00 in face value.
