SP2 Pop-up Blocker

As part of Microsoft's release of XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), Internet Explorer (IE) has been updated with a pop-up blocker that blocks the NetCollect and AusCollect File Tracking applications from working correctly.

When IE blocks a pop-up, IE displays an information bar at the top of the web page informing the user that a pop-up has been blocked. Clicking on the information bar provides the user additional options to display this or future pop-ups.

To enable the NetCollect and AusCollect File Tracking applications to work automatically each time you log in:

  1. Click the Pop-up Blocked Information Bar.
  2. Click 'Always Allow Pop-ups From This Site...' to allow the NetCollect and AusCollect File Tracking applications to automatically work during future log ins.
